Primitivo di Manduria DOP

Sant'Anastasia Riserva is a Primitivo di Manduria DOP of great structure and depth, produced from selected Primitivo grapes and aged for a long time in wood. An intense and elegant wine, created to fully express the power and complexity of this historic grape variety from the territory.

In the glass it shows a deep, compact red colour. On the nose, enveloping notes of ripe fruit, Mediterranean spices and evolved aromas emerge. On the palate it is rich, structured and persistent, with well-integrated tannins and a long, harmonious finish. A Riserva with strong character, ideal for those who appreciate important and long-lived wines.

Perfectly suited to structured Mediterranean dishes, red meats, roasts, game, stews and aged cheeses. Also excellent to be enjoyed slowly during moments of conviviality.

Grape variety: 100% Primitivo

Harvest period: late August - early September (hand-harvested)

Ageing: long ageing in French oak barrels followed by bottle ageing

Alcohol content: 16.3-16.5% vol.

Serving temperature: 16-18 °C (decanting recommended)
