Sant'Anastasia

Primitivo di Manduria DOP

Sant'Anastasia is a Primitivo di Manduria DOP of great structure and elegance, an authentic expression of the Apulian territory. Produced exclusively from 100% Primitivo grapes trained in the traditional alberello system, it comes from mature vineyards and a careful manual selection of the grapes.

The wine matures slowly in wood and continues its ageing in bottle, developing an intense and harmonious profile. On the nose it reveals notes of ripe fruit, sweet spices and delicate balsamic nuances; on the palate it is warm, enveloping and persistent, with soft, well-integrated tannins.

A Primitivo with strong character, balanced and deep, ideal to accompany red meats, structured Mediterranean dishes and aged cheeses.

Harvest period: late August / early September

Ageing: French oak barrels for 15-28 months / bottle ageing for 12-18 months

Alcohol content: 14.5-15.5% vol.

Serving temperature 16-18 °C (decanting recommended)
